USA Hockey InLine's Vision for the Sport

USA Hockey InLine has a vision for the sport that includes: one rulebook with tournament specific rules followed by all leagues and tournaments; every coach and referee properly trained and provided with resources to help them ensure the best possible experience for the player; training and education for league directors and facility operators to ensure inline hockey programs around the country continue to stay in business and provide a safe environment for inline hockey players; one true national team, selected fairly and proudly representing the best players in the United States; and a progression in the sport where a child starts in a learn-to-play program, moves into the rec/house leagues, progresses to travel hockey and/or into a high school program, continues to play in the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association, returns to a local adult league and eventually has kids and their kids enter the inline hockey cycle.

Sport Resource Group Renovates Ft. Sill Hockey Complex
Ft. Sill, OK – For in-line hockey players at Ft. Sill, things were looking pretty rough in the Spring of 2008.  The concrete surface of their normally-reliable rink had started to crumble and the old wood dasherboards had worn out making their favorite rink virtually unplayable.  Enter Bill Barwick, Chief, Community Recreation, DMWR, at Ft. Sill.  When Barwick heard of the players complaints, he located Sport Resource Group on the internet (www.sportresourcegroup.com) and inquired about a turn-key replacement package.  Just a few short months later, players are skating on a brand new IceCourt Outdoor surface and playing on a state-of-the-art ProWall™ Rink System.
